Many important Christian texts and writings by inspiring teachers and theologians are available in the audio format. Topics as broad as discipline, prayer, history, relationships, and Bible study are well represented in audiobooks. And in fiction, Christian audiobook publishers offer suspense, historical fiction, contemporary comedy, and romance.

What a listener must be careful of when diving into this genre is that not all books labeled "Christian" contain theologically sound doctrine. Even some individual publishers carry books that run all up and down the spectrum, not taking the time to present what actual Christianity is but trying to make a buck. Unless you can differentiate between authors, publishers, endorsers and ideologies, talk with your pastor (or someone else who knows the difference between what "Christian" actual means and what is merely called "Christian") about what you should be listening to in this genre. There are some dangerous books out there under the guise of "Christian literature" that should be avoided, so use prayerful discretion!
I am looking for recordings of the Bible being read in Russian. Any parts of the Bible, but especially the Psalms and New Testament. I'm interested in the "Synodal" version. Modern Russian, not Old Church Slavonic.
