This thread is the place to discuss Spanish audio—upcoming titles, publisher resources, favorite narrators, etc. What are your favorite Spanish audiobook listens? Which books and/or authors do you wish were available in Spanish-language audio versions?
My son is a high-school sophomore who is preparing to complete his first year of high school Spanish. He is thriving in the acquisition of spoken Spanish. He's also been an audiophile from a young age, listening to Harry Potter and Eragon books in his room. What a great idea, to find him an audiobook in Spanish for summer listening, to keep his ear fresh. Anyone have a recommendation for an easy Spanish listen (fiction)?
Robin and AudioFile have been great supporters of Publishers who are doing audiobooks in Spanish. Audiobooks are fantastic to learn a second language. In fact I started to listen to them in 1994 to improve my English and since them I have been addicted to them. Some years ago, I founded FonoLibro Inc., which is one of the leading publishers of the Audio in Spanish category. Our audiobooks are available through major distributors, major bookstore chains, and directly through our Sales Manager (sales@fonolibro.com). They are also in digital format in Audible.com, iTunes, Borders.com, and for Public Libraries through Overdrive.
